Clean lines and the striking presence of concrete: the Urbano Cubo table translates the linear, cubic design language of the bench of the same name into a spacious table for urban public spaces. The tabletop and side panels form a visually cohesive unit, lending the piece its solid, architectural presence. When combined with the matching Benches from the range, this creates a consistently designed ensemble.
Urbano Cubo is manufactured from C35/45, XC4 and XF4 concrete in accordance with DIN 18500 and is available in two different concrete finishes. In the version made from a special mix containing white cement and a special grain size, the exposed surfaces are polished and the internal surfaces have a formwork-smooth finish. Alternatively, anthracite-coloured grey cement with formwork-smooth exposed surfaces is available. Both variants feature chamfered edges and graffiti protection in exposed concrete class SB3.
The different finishes each lend the consistently minimalist basic form its own character – ranging from the light, polished concrete look to the dark, anthracite-coloured version. Further finishes and colours are available on request.
This makes the Urbano Cubo table the unifying centrepiece of the range: solid in material, clear in its lines and tailored to a public space design in which concrete is deliberately used as a defining design element.
