Sit back, relax and easily adjust the position to suit you: the Bornholm recliner combines an open wire mesh frame with an adjustable reclining surface. Its elongated, curved silhouette extends from the high backrest through the seating area to the lowered leg rest, creating a distinctive shape for relaxed outdoor seating areas.
What makes Bornholm special is its reclining surface. It is constructed entirely from wire mesh and round tubing with a diameter of 25 mm. The wire mesh has a mesh size of 15 × 20 mm with a wire thickness of 3.3 mm; the upper wires run perpendicular to the direction of seating. The structure is whirl-sintered with polyamide Rilsan and has a coating thickness of at least 350 µm. The skid-shaped base frame, made from round tubing, not only defines the sun lounger’s light, curved appearance but also serves a practical purpose: it prevents the sun lounger from sinking into the grass. This makes Bornholm suitable for use in outdoor seating areas on grassy surfaces.
Matching cushions and neck rolls are available for added comfort. The ‘Karoblau’ version is made from 100% printed cotton and solid foam. Alternatively, a dark grey Dralon cushion made from a special polyacrylic fibre is available; a matching neck roll in dark grey is also offered.
Bornholm thus combines flexible sun loungers with an airy wire mesh design and a substructure specifically designed for green spaces – a functional sun lounger for places where sitting back and relaxing are expressly encouraged.
