Prima stool and Media bench
Child-friendly design for young outdoor users: the Prima stool and the Media bench combine a clean, modern design with age-appropriate proportions. Clean lines for young users of outdoor spaces: with the Prima stool and the Media bench, ERLAU brings a linear, minimalist design to seating furniture specifically for children. Both models are designed as children’s furniture in accordance with DIN EN 17191 and are available in different size categories. Variants sized appropriately for children aged 1 to 3, 4 to 7 and 8 to 14 are available.
The continuous seat consists of an aluminium profile in a Golden Oak wood finish. This combines a warm, wood-like appearance with an aluminium construction. The anthracite-coloured legs, made from solid panels, provide a striking contrast. These consist of compressed, melamine-coated decorative paper and 50 to 60 phenolic resin-impregnated core layers with a pressed overlay. According to the product data sheet, the material is characterised by high resistance to UV radiation, as well as exceptional resistance to weathering, cigarette burns and heat. It is also exceptionally scratch-, abrasion- and impact-resistant.
The Prima stool offers a compact single seat, whilst the Media bench continues the same design as a longer seating option. Both models are intended for mobile use and are manufactured with stainless steel connecting elements. The different size categories differ in particular in terms of seat height and seat depth, thereby tailoring the furniture to different age groups.
Prima and Media thus form a design-coordinated combination: child-friendly proportions, a warm wooden finish and durable materials for seating areas specifically designed for younger users.
