Wave Urbano Concrete Sun Lounger

Shaped like a wave of concrete: the Wave Urbano lounger makes its curved silhouette the central design feature. The continuous concrete surface rises gently from the low footrest area, transitions into a reclining surface that hugs the body, and finally curves upwards to form a striking, high backrest. This creates a sculptural form that visually unites the seat and reclining surfaces into a single, flowing element. 

Wave Urbano is manufactured from C30/37, XC4, XF1 concrete in accordance with DIN 18500. The grey cement version features an acid-etched surface with anti-graffiti protection, exposed concrete class SB3 and chamfered edges, concrete specification BNB 010-0-S. Other finishes and colours are available on request. 

A particularly distinctive feature is the interplay between the solid materiality and the soft lines. Rather than straight surfaces and clearly defined components, a continuous undulating movement defines its appearance. This gives the solid concrete lounger a surprisingly fluid, almost organic appearance and creates a distinctive design feature in Public spaces.
