Topsit seating set

Clean lines, striking seat shells and versatile design options: Topsit Nova brings a linear, architectural design language to waiting, seating and lounge areas. The individually framed seats, together with the slender substructure, form a clearly structured system. Topsit Nova is available in one- to five-seater versions, with or without a Backrest, and offers two distinctly different material effects: wire mesh or Pagwood. 

In the Topsit Nova wire mesh version, the seat and backrest surfaces consist entirely of wire mesh. The side frames are made from laser-cut moulded parts. The wire mesh has a grid of 15 × 30 mm with a wire thickness of 4.0 mm; the upper wires run perpendicular to the seating direction and grid reinforcements serve to stabilise the structure. The wire ends are embedded in a special Erlau profile. The surfaces are whirl-sintered with polyamide Rilsan and have a coating thickness of at least 350 µm. 

Topsit Nova Pagholz offers a warmer, more natural material feel. Here, the side frames – made from laser-cut moulded parts – are combined with continuous FSC-certified Pagholz slats on the seat and backrest surfaces. The combination of a linear metal frame and horizontally arranged slats significantly alters the character of the seating set without compromising its distinctive geometric basic form. 

The shared substructure for both variants consists of the Nova frame measuring 50 × 50 mm with welded-on mounting plates, as well as legs made from round tubing with a diameter of 60 mm. The frame and legs are fully Hot-dip galvanized and additionally Powder-coated. To suit different installation scenarios, Topsit Nova can be supplied as a mobile, fixed or Base plate version. Corresponding centre legs are also available for all three variants. A version suitable for curved layouts is available on request, enabling seating arrangements along curved paths. 

Optionally, Topsit Nova can be complemented with the Topsit Armrest. This is intended exclusively for versions with a Backrest and can be used to further define the individual seating areas. 

Topsit Nova thus combines a striking, urban design language with modular configuration options and two distinct material characteristics – transparent and technical in wire mesh, or with the natural look of FSC-certified Pagwood slats.
