Open, linear and with a distinctive focus on the material: the Via bench is defined by its striking cross-planking, which extends from the Seat right round to the sides. This creates a clean, architectural silhouette with an open character. As well as the classic single bench, Via is also available as a double bench, where two seats facing each other create space for socialising and conversation.
The cross-planked body is constructed using 100 × 40 mm planks. You can choose from FSC-certified Dark Bamboo, Savanna Bamboo, Iroko and Robinia. The different material finishes shape the bench’s appearance, whilst the consistent cross-planking remains a characteristic design feature.
The planking is joined by U-profiles made of Hot-dip galvanized steel. The metal structure recedes visually into the background compared to the planks, enhancing the clean, uncluttered appearance of the cross-planked body. Via is designed to be portable and features fixing holes, allowing the bench to be secured to the ground if required.
