The tables are manufactured from C30/37, XC4, XF1 concrete in accordance with DIN 18500. The grey cement version features an acid-washed surface with anti-graffiti protection, exposed concrete class SB3 and chamfered edges; the concrete specification is BNB 010-0-S. The surface finish emphasises the natural appearance of the concrete and gives the table a calm, uniform look. Other finishes and colours are available on request. A defining feature of Orbit Urbano is the interplay between the round table top and the central base. The closed circular shape creates a clear design focal point, whilst the understated construction deliberately highlights the solid materiality. The round table top is accessible from all sides, making it particularly suitable for communal areas where socialising and interaction are the main focus.
As a freestanding concrete table, Orbit Urbano can be used independently of the seating set of the same name. At the same time, it can be combined with the matching curved seating elements from the range, which can be arranged in a circle around the table. Orbit Urbano thus offers a variety of design options – from a single table to the centrepiece of a cohesive seating landscape.
