Clean lines, natural materials and virtually limitless design possibilities: Olympia Luna combines a linear, modern design language with the versatility of a modular seating system. Straight and curved seating elements can be individually combined and arranged to create a wide variety of seating configurations. Whether as a classic row of seating, a curved bench arrangement or a circular gathering space – Olympia Luna adapts to different spatial conditions and creates inviting seating areas with a cohesive look.
The modular system comprises straight two- and three-seater elements as well as curved 45° elements. All variants are available as base and extension elements, thereby allowing for individual expansion of the seating set. Whilst the straight elements create clear, linear arrangements, the curved modules introduce movement into the design. Eight 45° elements, for example, can be joined together to form a closed seating circle. Combining different elements opens up a wide range of possibilities for structuring seating areas, following the flow of footpaths or creating spaces for social interaction. A characteristic feature of Olympia Luna is the combination of continuous wooden slats and striking, rectangular metal legs. The legs consist of angled, laser-cut moulded parts and lend the seating elements a clean, architectural silhouette. All metal parts are Hot-dip galvanized and additionally Powder-coated. The minimalist design highlights the natural appearance of the Seats and ensures a consistent look across all modules.
For the seats, you can choose from FSC-certified dark bamboo, Savanna bamboo, iroko and black locust. The different slat options allow for individual adaptation to the respective design concept – from light, warm natural tones to a dark, striking look. Regardless of the material finish chosen, the characteristic lines of the Olympia Luna are retained, uniting the individual elements into a harmonious whole. Olympia Luna is available with or without a Backrest. The backrest-free elements impress with their particularly open, minimalist design and allow seating from both sides. Versions with a backrest complement the system by offering an additional option for leaning back. This allows seating areas to be designed according to specific usage requirements and enables different seating configurations to be realised within a single product family. The seating elements are designed to be mobile and feature fixing holes, so that they can be secured to the floor if required. Optionally, the modules can be combined with the Gloria base. Thus, in addition to the variable arrangement of the seating elements, Olympia Luna also offers various options for the design of the substructure.
With its modular design, versatile combination options and the distinctive blend of wood and metal, Olympia Luna opens up numerous possibilities for customised public space design. From individual benches through to spacious rows of seating and curved or circular seating arrangements, the result is a flexible system that combines functional seating with a clear, consistent design language.
