Pedalo Bike Box
Lockable bike locker for secure and convenient bicycle parking. The ERLAU Pedalo bike locker accommodates two bicycles and allows them to be secured further inside. Thanks to its gas spring-assisted opening mechanism, the bike locker is easy to operate. Base and extension units allow for both individual Bike lockers and larger parking facilities – for example, at railway stations, in residential complexes, at businesses or at tourist attractions.

A secure bicycle storage unit designed for ease of use: the Pedalo Radbox provides an enclosed space for storing two bicycles. Its distinctive, compact design combines functional weather protection with ease of use: two strong gas springs assist with opening and closing the top cover, meaning that little effort is required. The Pedalo Radbox is tested in accordance with DIN 79008.
The top cover is made of galvanised and Powder-coated sheet steel and is framed by a 30 mm diameter tubular frame running all the way round. All load-bearing metal components are Hot-dip galvanized. The side panels are made of 18 mm thick, phenolic resin-coated birch plywood, which is heat- and weather-resistant. The phenolic resin film coating has a thickness of 120 g/m² and a colour similar to RAL 8022 black-brown; the film surface is resistant to abrasion, moisture, common chemicals, as well as diluted acids and alkalis. The security concept is also designed with secure bicycle storage in mind. The two bicycles can also be secured against theft from inside the unit. A double-locking mechanism is designed to accommodate a standard 30/10 cylinder lock and features a pre-fitted emergency release from the inside. Pre-drilled holes also allow the bike box to be anchored to the floor.
In addition to the basic unit, an extension unit is available for row configuration. This allows several bike boxes to be combined into a continuous system. Row configurations can, for example, be integrated into site planning alongside car parking spaces.
Optional attachments are available to meet different requirements, including lock cylinders, a locking aid, a power supply with two separately fused sockets, a floor mounting kit, adjustable feet, insert panels, bicycle racks and an adapter for bicycle locks. The standard colours are pure white and anthracite grey; other colours are available on request.
The Pedalo Radbox thus combines secure bicycle storage, convenient opening and closing, and the option of modular row configuration – for bicycle parking systems where security, organisation and well-planned use of space go hand in hand.
