Sit together, relax and make the most of the public spaces in a variety of ways: Parador combines seating and a table into a cohesive whole. The characteristically curved bases give the combination light, flowing lines, whilst the clear arrangement of the seating and table surfaces ensures a harmonious overall look. With Parador Harmony and Parador Style, a range of material finishes, and versions with and without Backrests, the seating and table combination can be flexibly adapted to suit a variety of design concepts.
In the Parador Harmony range, the seats consist of wire mesh and round tubing with a diameter of 38 mm. The wire mesh has a grid of 15 × 15 mm with a wire thickness of 3.3 mm; denser sections of the grid serve to define seating areas and provide stability. The seat surface – and, in the version with continuous wire mesh, the table top – are whirl-sintered with polyamide Rilsan and have a coating thickness of at least 350 µm. There is a choice of versions without a Backrest, or with a Backrest on one or both sides.
Alternatively, Parador Harmony with a solid table top combines the wire mesh seat surfaces with a dark brown table top in the Ceramico finish. This consists of compressed melamine-coated decorative papers and 50 to 60 phenolic resin-impregnated core layers with a pressed overlay. This creates a deliberate material contrast within the same basic structure between the open structure of the wire mesh and the solid tabletop.
Parador Style opens up even more possibilities for material design. The seat and table frames consist of laser-cut moulded parts and round tubing with a diameter of 38 mm, and are also whirl-sintered with polyamide Rilsan. Wire mesh, as well as FSC-certified dark bamboo, Savanna bamboo, iroko, robinia and pagwood, or recycled plastic, are available for the inserts. This allows Parador Style to be designed to range from a consistent metallic look to a more natural material effect.
In addition to the double-sided seat-and-table combination, the Parador Harmony Single and Parador Style Single are also available. In these versions, the seat is located on one side of the table only. Depending on the version, it can be selected with or without a Backrest. The product images thus illustrate various ways in which Parador can be used to suit the available space and the desired layout. All versions of Parador are also available in Bambino size.
The cross-brace made from round tubing and the pre-drilled leg set are fully Hot-dip galvanized. A floor anchoring kit is available as an option, allowing the seat-and-table combination to be set in concrete.
With its wide range of designs, Parador combines seating and table tops in a stylistically coordinated system – available either single-sided or double-sided, with various Backrests and a range of material finishes from wire mesh to wood and bamboo, right through to recycled plastic.
