Siena Bench

Comfortable, stable and featuring a deliberately robust design: the Siena bench combines clean lines with striking, L-shaped square legs. This linear construction gives the bench its distinctive appearance and forms the basis for a range of seating and material options. Siena is available with or without a Backrest.

In the Siena Harmony version, the continuous seat and backrest surfaces consist of wire mesh and round tubing with a diameter of 38 mm. The wire mesh has a grid of 15 × 15 mm with a wire thickness of 3.3 mm. Densified sections of the mesh serve to define seating areas and provide stability. The seat is whirl-sintered with polyamide Rilsan and has a coating thickness of at least 350 µm. Siena Harmony is available as a two- or three-seater bench.

Siena Style offers more options for material design. The frame, made from laser-cut moulded parts and round tubing, can be combined with various inserts. Choices include wire mesh as well as FSC-certified dark bamboo, Savanna bamboo, iroko, black locust and pagwood, or recycled plastic. This allows the linear basic form of the Siena to be designed with different material effects depending on the surroundings.

The 50 × 50 mm L-shaped square legs are fully Hot-dip galvanized. Depending on the version, the Siena is available as a mobile unit or for permanent installation; for the permanent versions, a range of leg base designs is available. With the matching Siena Maxi table, the series’ distinctive design can be extended beyond the bench.
