Sun loungers
ERLAU sun loungers create spaces for rest and relaxation outdoors – from public spaces and urban open spaces to outdoor swimming pools and leisure areas. A variety of designs, materials and finishes allow you to choose the option that best suits the intended use, design and requirements of each project. Not every public space places the same demands on a sun lounger. For parks and public spaces, the focus is on design, seamless integration and the appropriate construction. In swimming pools and leisure facilities, on the other hand, factors such as mobility, stackability and adjustable reclining positions are key. For areas with higher comfort requirements, ERLAU also offers Careline loungers.
Pool and leisure loungers
Swimming pools and leisure areas require different features to those needed for permanently installed street furniture. ERLAU pool loungers therefore feature portable and, in some cases, stackable designs, adjustable reclining positions, and water- and UV-resistant finishes.

Frequently asked questions about our sun loungers
Solaris, Wave Urbano, Tivoli and Bornholm are particularly suitable for parks and landscaped public outdoor spaces. They differ significantly in terms of construction and materials: Solaris combines a steel frame with bamboo slats, Wave Urbano is made of concrete, whilst Tivoli and Bornholm feature wire mesh reclining surfaces. Which variant is suitable depends on the design, location, desired mobility and intended use.
For swimming pools and leisure areas, the range includes, amongst others, Marina, Eva Pro, Etna and the Mini lounger. The models are designed for portable use and, depending on the version, offer features such as stackability, adjustable headrests, castors or exceptionally low weight.
Yes. Marina, Eva Pro and Etna are stackable. The mini sun lounger and various Careline flat sun loungers are also stackable. This means that several sun loungers can be stacked together to save space when not in use.
The Marina, Eva Pro and Etna models feature a headrest that can be adjusted to five different positions and can also be lowered completely flat. Depending on the model, the Careline recliners are available in versions with a tilting backrest or an adjustable backrest.
Yes. The Solaris is designed as a double lounger. The reclining surface is 1,200 mm wide and consists of 29 bamboo slats.
Selected versions of the Solaris are available as a 360° swivelling sun lounger. This variant is available in the version with the FP 100 base plate, as well as in a mobile version with a circular base and fixing holes.
Solaris is available both for various mobile set-ups and for bolting under finished flooring using the FP 100 base plate. The exact method of fixing and design should be checked on the product details page or in the technical documentation, depending on the installation situation.
In the case of the Bornholm model, the ski-shaped base is specifically designed to prevent the sun lounger from sinking into the lawn. For other models, suitability should be checked in light of the specific installation and fixing conditions.
The range features a variety of material concepts. Solaris combines a Hot-dip galvanized steel frame with a reclining surface made from Bamboo Savanna or Bamboo Dark. Tivoli and Bornholm use steel and wire mesh, respectively, with a polyamide Rilsan coating. Wave Urbano is made of concrete. Depending on the model, the Bäder and Careline sun loungers are made from aluminium, steel, plastic and fabric covers.
Yes. Wave Urbano is a concrete sun lounger. It measures 2,016 × 650 × 837 mm and is characterised by its continuous, curved shape.
Weight and design are particularly important factors here. Marina weighs 9 kg, Etna 12 kg and the mini sun lounger 4.8 kg. The Eva Pro also has two castors. When making your choice, you should consider not only the weight but also how often the sun loungers will need to be moved or stored during regular use.
Replacement covers for the Marina and Eva Pro are listed in the ERLAU catalogue. This means that the cover can be replaced separately. Please refer to the relevant product information for available colours and variants.
Yes. ERLAU offers a deposit-return system with a return station for Marina. It can be operated either with a coin-operated lock for a 2-euro coin or with a card-operated lock and deposit cards. According to the catalogue, the system is intended for sale in Germany only.
Careline recliners are specifically designed with a higher reclining height. The Bermuda and Florida models have a height of 45 cm; the Florida Plus, Brazil Plus and Ibiza Plus models have a height of 50 cm. This can be particularly relevant in situations where sitting down and standing up from a higher position needs to be made easier.
The colours available vary depending on the product and material. For various ERLAU steel products, specific standard colours are available, as well as RAL colours on request. The sun loungers have their own frame and upholstery colours. The specific colour options should therefore always be shown on the relevant product page.
When selecting a product, the key factors to consider are, in particular, dimensions, material and finish, weight, portability or method of attachment, available variants and, where applicable, load-bearing capacity. This information should be provided on the product detail pages, together with any available technical documentation and downloads.
