Munich seating set

Distinctive seat shells, clean lines and ergonomically shaped seating comfort: München Nova brings a distinctive, linear design language to waiting and lounge areas. The individual seat shells combine generous backrests with ergonomically shaped Seat surfaces and are arranged on a shared, understated substructure. Available in one- to five-seater versions with Backrests, München Nova can be configured to suit the specific space requirements. 

The side frames of the seat shells consist of laser-cut moulded parts, whilst the seat and backrest surfaces are made entirely from wire mesh. The mesh measures 15 × 30 mm with a wire thickness of 3.3 mm. The upper wires run perpendicular to the direction of seating, whilst mesh reinforcements provide additional stabilisation. The wire ends are encased in a special Erlau profile. The entire seat shell is whirl-sintered with polyamide Rilsan and has a coating thickness of at least 350 µm. The seat shells are supported by the Nova frame, made from 50 × 50 mm thick profile with welded-on mounting plates. The legs consist of round tubing with a diameter of 60 mm. Both the frame and the legs are fully Hot-dip galvanized and additionally Powder-coated. Thus, the open structure of the wire mesh surfaces is combined with a linear, solid substructure. Several leg variants are available to suit different installation scenarios: München Nova can be configured as a mobile unit, a fixed unit or with a Base plate. Matching centre legs are also available in all three variants. A curved version is also available on request, allowing the seating set to be integrated into curved layouts. 

Munich Nova thus combines ergonomically shaped wire mesh seat shells with modular seating configurations and a variety of installation options – for a clear, structured design of seating and lounge areas.
