Curved shapes, solid concrete and a focal point for socialising: the Orbit Urbano seating set features a consistently circular design. A round table forms the centre, around which four curved seating elements are arranged. The deliberately placed gaps break up the circle and create access points to the seating set. The result is a striking ensemble with a clear, geometric design language.
The tables and seating elements are made of C30/37, XC4, XF1 concrete in accordance with DIN 18500. Orbit Urbano is finished in grey cement with a pickled surface and anti-graffiti protection, and meets exposed concrete class SB3; the edges are chamfered. The concrete specification for Orbit is BNB 010-0-S. Further finishes and colours are available on request. The complete seating set comprises four curved seating elements, four U-shaped legs or connecting elements, a round table top and a plinth. The arrangement of the individual elements forms a generous circle, making the table the design focal point of the seating set.
In addition to the complete seating set, the Orbit Urbano table is also available separately. This allows the characteristic round design to be used independently of the seating set and integrated into various open-space concepts.
Orbit Urbano thus combines solid materials with a harmonious, circular design – a seating-and-table combination which, thanks to its clear geometry, creates a distinctive focal point in public spaces and establishes a shared centre for sitting and relaxing.
