Modern seating for public waiting areas: the Intersit bench combines a clean, functional design with a range of options for larger seating arrangements. Its distinctive Armrests and side frames, made from laser-cut moulded components, define its appearance. Depending on requirements, Intersit is available as a 3- or 6-seater variant, as well as in double-sided 3+3 or 6+6-seater configurations – an interesting solution, particularly where several seats need to be grouped together in a structured manner.
In the Intersit wire mesh version, the seat and backrest surfaces consist entirely of wire mesh. The 15 × 30 mm grid is supplemented by grid reinforcements, which serve to visually divide the space and provide stability. The 3.3 mm thick top wires run perpendicular to the direction of seating. The seat and backrest surfaces are whirl-sintered with polyamide Rilsan and have a coating thickness of at least 350 µm.
Intersit Pagholz offers a different material effect. Here, the seat and backrest are constructed with crosswise slats made from FSC-certified Pagholz. The characteristic design of the Intersit is retained, whilst the slats give the bench a distinctly different visual appearance.
The legs have a diameter of 60 mm and are Hot-dip galvanized and Powder-coated. In addition to the mobile version, Intersit is available for permanent installation with a leg depth of 170 mm below the finished floor level. Together with the various seating configurations, the bench can thus be tailored to meet different requirements in public waiting areas.
