Sitting together, playing and exploring the public spaces: Bambino offers this versatile seat-and-table combination in a specially sized version with a lower seat and table height. The seat and table surfaces, which are firmly joined together, create a compact unit featuring the characteristic curved lines of the Parador range. A variety of materials, backrests and finishes open up a wide range of possibilities for designing children’s play areas.
In the Bambino Harmony version, the seat and table surfaces are made of wire mesh and round tubing with a diameter of 38 mm. The wire mesh has a grid size of 15 × 15 mm with a wire thickness of 3.3 mm; denser sections of the grid serve to divide the space and provide stability. The surfaces are whirl-sintered with polyamide Rilsan and have a coating thickness of at least 350 µm. Bambino Harmony is available without a Backrest, or with a Backrest on one or both sides.
Alternatively, the Bambino Harmony with a solid table top combines the open structure of the wire mesh seat surfaces with a solid table top. This consists of compressed melamine-coated decorative paper and 50 to 60 phenolic resin-impregnated core layers, and is finished in the ‘Ceramico’ decor. This creates a striking contrast of materials within the harmoniously curved basic structure.
Bambino Style offers particularly extensive design flexibility. The seat and table frames consist of laser-cut moulded parts and round tubing with a diameter of 38 mm, and are also whirl-sintered with polyamide Rilsan. The choice of inserts includes wire mesh as well as FSC-certified dark bamboo, Savanna bamboo, iroko, robinia and pagwood, or recycled plastic. Bambino Style is also available without a Backrest, or with a Backrest on one or both sides.
The cross-brace made from round tubing and the pre-drilled leg set are fully Hot-dip galvanized. An optional floor anchoring kit is also available for Bambino, for use with concrete foundations. Furthermore, all versions of Bambino are also available in a basic design – with a seat on just one side of the table.
Bambino thus combines child-friendly, appropriately sized seating with a shared table surface, offering a wide range of options in terms of materials and finishes – from the uniform wire mesh look through to solid table tops and natural-looking wood and bamboo variants.
