A classic in public space design with many facets: the Siesta bench combines its characteristic, arched lines with a wide range of finishes and materials. This means it can be configured to suit any design concept – with or without a Backrest, set up as a freestanding unit or permanently fixed in place. A defining feature is the arched round-tube legs, which have a diameter of 38 mm. Their curved shape not only adds a design accent but also serves as Armrests. The seat and leg sections are connected using an adaptation kit. In the mobile version, the legs are whirl-sintered with polyamide Rilsan and finished with a coating thickness of at least 350 µm. For fixed installation, Hot-dip galvanized and Powder-coated legs are used.
The Siesta Harmony is characterised by continuous seat and backrest surfaces made of wire mesh. The wire mesh, with a grid of 15 × 15 mm and a wire thickness of 3.3 mm, is supplemented by grid reinforcements to define seating areas and provide stability. The seat is whirl-sintered with polyamide Rilsan and also has a coating thickness of at least 350 µm. Siesta Harmony is available as a two- or three-seater bench.
Siesta Style offers even greater flexibility in the choice of materials. The frame, made from laser-cut moulded parts and round tubing, can be combined with inserts made from wire mesh, dark bamboo, Savanna bamboo, iroko, robinia, pagwood or recycled plastic – all woods are FSC-certified. This allows the familiar design language of the Siesta to be interpreted in different ways depending on the surroundings and the desired design. Matching tables and bicycle racks from the Siesta range also make it possible to extend the design beyond the bench.
