Multi seating set
Seating rows without backrests for versatile outdoor spaces. The Multi seating set is characterised by its minimalist design without backrests. This makes it ideal for locations where compact seating is required, without a backrest dictating the direction of view. With a range of seating capacities and mounting options, Multi can be adapted to suit different spaces and usage concepts.
Stripped back to the essentials, and versatile precisely because of this: Multi Nova features individual, clearly defined Seats without Backrests, linked by a linear, shared base frame. The open wire mesh structure and the gently curved shape of the seats lend the seating set a light, understated appearance. With configurations ranging from one to five seats, Multi Nova can be tailored to suit the available space.
The individual seats consist of wire mesh and round tubing with a diameter of 25 mm. The wire mesh has a grid size of 15 × 15 mm with a wire thickness of 3.3 mm. Grid reinforcements provide stability. The surfaces are whirl-sintered with polyamide Rilsan and have a coating thickness of at least 350 µm. The Nova frame, made from 50 × 50 mm thick profile with welded-on screw-on plates, serves as the load-bearing element. The legs are made from round tubing with a diameter of 60 mm. The frame and legs are fully Hot-dip galvanized and additionally Powder-coated. The linear substructure provides a calm contrast to the slightly curved individual seats. Several leg variants are available to suit different installation scenarios. Multi Nova can be configured as a mobile unit, a fixed installation or with a Base plate; corresponding centre legs are also available for all three variants. A radius-adapted version is available on request, opening up additional possibilities for seating arrangements along curved routes.
Optionally, Multi Nova can be complemented with the Allegro armrest. This allows individual seats to be further segmented and the seating set to be functionally expanded.
Multi Nova thus combines a minimalist wire mesh design with modular seating options and a variety of configuration possibilities – a versatile backless seating system for clearly and flexibly designed communal areas.
