Strada Bench

Clean geometry meets a light, open design: the Strada bench thrives on the exciting interplay of different shapes. Particularly striking are the linear, rectangular side panels, which also serve as Armrests and strikingly frame the seat and backrest. This creates a modern, uncluttered appearance with a high degree of recognisability. Strada is available with or without a Backrest.

In the Strada Harmony version, the continuous seat and backrest surfaces are made of wire mesh and round tubing with a diameter of 38 mm. The wire mesh has a grid size of 15 × 15 mm and a wire thickness of 3.3 mm. Densified sections serve to divide the space and provide stabilisation. The seat is sintered by the vortex process and has a coating thickness of at least 350 µm. Strada Harmony is available as a two- or three-seater version.

Strada Style opens up additional possibilities for material design. The frame, made from laser-cut moulded parts and round tubing, can be combined with a variety of inserts. Choices include wire mesh as well as FSC-certified dark bamboo, Savanna bamboo, iroko, robinia and pagwood, or recycled plastic. Each of the different materials adds its own distinctive touch and creates an attractive contrast to the strictly geometric design of the side panels.

The legs, which feature integrated armrests, are Hot-dip galvanized and Powder-coated. Strada is designed to be portable and features mounting brackets. The seat and leg sections are connected using an adaptation kit. With the matching Strada bicycle rack, the bench’s distinctive design language can also be extended to other elements of public space design.
