Straight-lined, unadorned and consistent down to the last detail: the Linea table makes its longitudinal panelling its defining design feature. The planks extend across the tabletop and down the sides to the floor. This creates a clearly defined, almost continuous body, which lends the table its calm, architectural appearance and consistently carries forward the series’ characteristic design language.
Planks measuring 100 × 40 mm thick are used for the longitudinal panelling. The choice of materials includes FSC-certified dark bamboo, savannah bamboo, iroko and robinia. Each of the different material finishes brings its own natural character to the minimalist design, whilst the tables’ clean lines are preserved. The planking is joined by laser-cut moulded parts made of Hot-dip galvanized steel. These structural elements take a back seat visually to the continuous planks, thereby enhancing the material-focused design. Linea is designed to be portable and features fixing holes, allowing the table to be secured to the ground if required.
With the matching Linea bench, the table can be complemented to form a stylistically coordinated ensemble. The continuous longitudinal panelling unites both elements in a shared design language – clean lines, a natural material finish and a consistently minimalist form.
